"Low Level" Students

It doesn't seem that Shin & Crookes approach would be possible for low level students who need the basics before they can speak critically and dialogically.  It seems that they excluded low level students.
Having critical dialogue with the students who can't answer right away to "How's it going?" is too much for them.

  2. In classroom, for teachers to interact with students who are not proficient in the target language, there are many ways to help them.

first, teachers should regard the target language as a means not a end. this means that "low level" students are not people who do not think anything, rather they only do not express their own thoughts with the target language. in this point of view, teachers can make them write their thoughts in their native language and teachers translate it so that students express their thinking.
second, pschologically, someone`s belief can lead others to better state they want.As an educator and guider, teachers should believe their students and encourage them to get to the level they want.
in sum, if teachers have a different point of view about the role of the target language, and belive their students with their warm heart, students can develop themselve and the better interaction can be with each other.
